Mandrel Bending & Cooling System Piping
Data-center cooling infrastructure — chilled water systems, condenser water loops, refrigerant piping, and related mechanical systems — often requires pipe and tube bent to tight radii with minimal ovality and no wall thinning that would compromise flow or pressure ratings. Mandrel bending uses an internal mandrel to support the pipe wall during the bending process, allowing tighter radii and cleaner bends than rotary draw bending without internal support.
Pacific Roll can evaluate mandrel bending for cooling system piping applications involving round pipe and tube in carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials. If your cooling system layout requires tight-radius bends in pipe or tube that need to maintain roundness and wall integrity, send us your specifications for review.
